Based in Perth, Western Australia, Jason is the photographer behind Eye Capturing Photography — a one-man operation built around a genuine love for sport, storytelling, and community. Whether it’s a local juniors match or a championship decider, Jason brings the same focus: capturing the emotion, energy, and meaning behind every game.
A Passion Turned More Profession
What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something more — a dedicated photography pursuit with a reputation for consistency, speed, and professional-quality coverage. Jason offers both open attendance (no fee, just image sales) and pre-booked services for clubs and associations looking for guaranteed coverage, fast turnaround, and share-ready content.

Jason doesn’t just show up with a big lens — he shows up with intent. His approach is calm, observant, and quietly confident, built on years of photographing everything from CrossFit to rugby league, T-ball, AFL, baseball, and BMX. More Than Sport
Outside the action, Jason also captures landscapes and street photography during his travels, with a small selection available as limited edition prints. He works full-time in healthcare technology, supporting clinicians across WA, and brings that same attention to detail and respect for people into every shoot.
